Just bought a set of wheels from luke, and am totally impressed with them. Just a quick question though. The centerbore of the wheels are 72.2, but I am going to put them on a 89 300E (W124). The wheels came with a set of centering rings that are 66.6 mm in diamter (inner). I am correct in assuming that I need to use these centering rings, given that Mercedes needs a 66.6 centerbore whereas the wheels are 72.2? I know the knowledgeable people at tirerack know what they are doing, but I dont know what I'm doing. =) Thanks.

Ben

I am curious. Which wheel did you get from TireRack?

And yes, you "MUST" use the 66.6 centering ring or the wheels will not be centered and cause damage and perhaps an accident.
