Thumbs up Luke, my savior.. Wheels replacement for 99 E320

Folks!

Like most of the novice buyers, I bought wheels, before I worried about fitment. Being that stupid was worth being stupid becuase I got a good deal on the wheels, and I possibly can sell the wheels if they don't fit!

Here is the scenario.. Luke, don't laugh!

I got a 99 E320 with 16 inch wheels, to the best of my knowledge, they are 16 x 7 1/2" 41 offset, 112 mm bolt pattern 5 lug..

They look like this item on ebay (completed/closed item) : 2423957853

I BOUGHT a set of S Class wheels.
17" , 112 mm bolt pattern 5 lug, offset 20 ET. Its said that it will fit the S320 of 1995 99 range without a problem. I imagine E320 and S320 are smae platform in 1999? as for wheel assembly goes?

I got them in posessions tand they look like this ebay item: 2424864925

Let me know if I would have any problem installation time, and Luke can you recommend, just a tad bit oversized tires for this wheel?

See the pic of my new wheel
Thanks all

bump...

Hey, does anybody know if the S Class ALWAYS has 14 mm bolts as opposed to the 12 mm bolts on E Class? Or is it based on the Engine Size?

The seller of my wheels swears that they will fit on S320 of the 95-99 era. The original wheels are OEM and they are off of a 2003 S class.

the wheel will stickouty more than an inch from your current 16's and all S-class cars use 14mm lug hardware and your e-classuses 12mm lug hardware ... sell them and get something that fits correctly
