Choice of Tires for my SL
My good friend owns a Tire Center in my area. He has a set of Pirelli Ultra High Performence P7000 tires that are virtualy brand new to fit my SL. He took them off an SL where the owner changed the wheel size. I presently have Continental tires driven only 3,500 miles on the SL. I would appreciate any opinions on weather the Pirelli's would be a better tire in ride and performance. For the price he wants to charge me, it's almost getting them for the cost of mounting and balancing. Is it worth the trouble to change? The Pirellis are a better looking tire, and we all know that is certainly an issue to consider. Thanks,
