Tire Rack torque wrench question

I just bought torque wrench from Tire Rack, and have questions.

=======================
=======================

When 0 on the rotating handle is aligned with the vertical line, the top of the rotating handle matches the top part of

70

and is a little above the bottom of

80.

(See the attached picture.)

Then is this setting 70 ft.lbs or 80f.lbs?

=========================
=========================

"This torque wrench was calibrated adn is accurate to +/- 4 %. This is a precision measuring instrument. calibration and servicing must be done regularly and is the owners responsibility."

How often do I need to calibrate?

I will only use this after I rotate tires. (When instaling a weel, wheel mount bolt is tigtened with specified torque. After driving some miles, I need to re-check the torque. This is my purpose of buying the torque wrench.)

Is +/- 4 % accuracy OK?
I have no feeling whether it is good or mediocre.

80 lbs. is where it is set at in your description .... the need for calibration is specifically dependant on how much you use it .... for just your tire rotations it will probably take you years to get it out of whack .....

Just to add a little to Luke's response, after torquing my wheels, I usually return the setting to zero.
This will take the tension off the spring.

Heed Manny's advice. Don't leave a clicker wrench "loaded" or the it will go out of calibration. Return it to zero when storing it.
