Do I need snow tires?

THis is my first winter as a MB owner. Are these cars (W126's) as bad in the snow as other models I've seen mentioned here? I drive very locally but I am concerned that this car does not handle well in the snow. Please comment so I can learn what I should or should not do. Thanks.

W126's SUCK in the snow without snow tires. Get four of 'em.

See, I dont understand why everyone says that about the w126's. I have a 380 just like you, and mine does just fine. I have only driven it in 10" snow and below, and I know how to drive on this stuff, so your mileage may vary.

Get these if your budget is large enough: Hak 1 and Hak 2 from www.nokiantyres.com. I dont know how much they cost. I will start a thread about it.
