195 65 vs 205 60

I will replace the 195-65-15 Michelins in a few months. Probably with Bridgestone Turanza since so many have recommended them. What will I experience if I use 205-60-15 instead of 195-65-15?
regards,
Mark

205/60/15 will be 0.3 inches smaller in overall diameter.
Speedo & odometer will read 1.2 % slower/less.
Sidewall height will be 0.2 inches smaller.

Any moticable differences in ride quality, steering response, and handling?

correction: A smaller diameter tire will cause the speedo / odo to read HIGHER than actual.

Any time you have a shorter sidewall ride will deteriorate. However, such a small change as noted in this thread will likely not be noticed.

The proposed change is so small that

it is likely to be less noticeable than the differences between brands and series of the same brand within one size. The 205/60s should give a sharper steering response by a hair, but if you replace a really performance oriented tire with a "touring" line, the results could be the opposite.

You're right.
What I meant to say was your " actual " distance covered as well as your " actual " speed traveled, will be less.
