kumho vs. green diamond
I need to replace all four tires. I am trying to decide between buying the really cheap Kumho 716s from tirerack ($37 each) or Green Diamond all seasons which I know from prior experience are great on ice (however, they are retreads, which makes me kind of nervous). I live in Minneapolis, so snow and ice traction is very important. The Green Diamonds are about $65 each and probably won't last as long. Has anyone driven the Kumhos in icy conditions and are they any good? As always your responses are greatly appreciated.

If you need to get good grip on ice/snow, forget the 716 All-season tire. Go to the KW-11 and you'll be much better off.
I can't speak of the Green Diamond as I know little about the tires, but they are reported to work well.
