Tire Reaction???
1989 300te...just a month old for me...I decided to be safe and put some snows on...but just the rear cuz I don't have the cash right now. Blizzak's. The car definitly tracks odd... sharp turns feel like the rear is going to do a major fishtail...I CANNOT drive this fast in corners or quick lane changes. Is this a function of the Blizzak's on the rear? Would all four corners "cure" this...Is the 300te noted to be a stable handling car, capable of fast cornering/ turns? I fear the crisis situation where I must avoid something and veer left or right severly...I don't know how the auto will respond.

I'm not close to being an expert on tires, but don't most people recommend putting dedicated snow tires on in complete sets of 4? I've read warnings about the car handling in strange manners if only 2 Snows are put on. ??

jbp5151 is correct - you really need to put tires, of any type, on in sets of four. Do a search under my user name and look for a recent thread with something about snow tires. Luke from tire rack gave a excellent and very detailed answer to this question.
