What do you think about such a foot pump?

Can I pump alone? Or should another person hold the valve while I pump with my foot?

Does the gas station pump offer different gas? (nitrogen instead of air, humidity controlled, anti-corrosion additive?????)

#1.) the valve probably locks onto the stem
#2.) the gas station uses plan pold compressed air
