"NO Problem Brakes"
For the record, my front brakes are Textar "Yellow box" pads and Balo discs. They seem to be wearing better than the original OEM equipment and there is less dust with the Textar pads.

Do you think that cryotreated discs would last longer?

I have been using Kleen Wheels/Dust Shields for over a decade now and have had no problems. I had it both in my BMW and MB. These cars come with good brakes and unless you're racing or consistenly and frequently hard on your brakes you should not have any ill effect.

i use clean wheels just on the front wheels. the back wheels don't get sooty quickly at all. we've used them on the 1985 300TD for 19 years now, never any problems. still get about 15K miles out of pads. never any warped rotors.

Paul, I forget what the main reason is for cryo treating, I think it's to help prevent cracking. It's mostly for racing use where you're being pretty brutal on the brakes. I'm definitely not an expert on that particular subject! You might want to post over in the "Hot Rod" forum to get information from knowledgeable people.
