I've got them and I'm satisfied. Check out The Wheel Exchange they've got a good selection of replicas. If you decide to go with orginals, check out tire rack and ask for Luke.

If I wasn't in such a hurry I would have waited for a good used set of orginal AMG's nonchromed. My old wheels were chromed and the flaking was so bad that I had 2 flat tires every morning.

Some people look down on replicas. I personally don't care. Cost is the limiting factor for me. If a used orginal AMG is being sold for the same price of a new replica, I'd probably buy the used orginal. Otherwise the replicas are fine.

I'm in the same boat as when your chromies were leaking. I've been contemplating factory 1995 e430 wheels or AMG replicas. I'm not sure which one to go with yet.

The ET's trouble me somewhat... Board members say et 35, 37, and 41 all work. But which one would be the first choice or fit the best? I dunno.

Anyways, howz da wave on the south shore? Is there signs a good season.

easy brah.

I bought the replicas also

I got them from the Wheel Exchange and like them quite a bit. I'm sure they're a bit heavier than AMG but my car's a diesel and the performance advantage would be negligable. The fit right, the finish is decent and besides the AMG name tag they look the same.

Shoebox - Sounds like your from the islands. O.K. I'll let my pigeon english come out...I hope you'll be able to understand my post....

Da chrome wheels was fun to have when it wuz new, da chicks really dig um. But latah da bugga start flaking. Sheet every morning I gotta pump um up. I was going to fix um, but ho brah freaking expensive. Mo cheap get one new rim! I might get my new rims polish, they look like chrome without da flaking.

I wuz tinking of getting da 8hole factory machine finish rims, but nah...neva had time fo find one set cheap. Ah, it's cool I'm satisfied with da replicas...da chicks no can tell.

Eh no worry about da ET. 35 - 41 going clear dats all dat mattah.

Da beech is pumping. Brah da swells wuz huge da past couple of weeks, but dat was becoz der wuz a storm nearby. I stay on da southwest side, so it's not as beeg as da waves on the north shore. But gud enough for me brah.

Shaka!
