I saw a set of P600 225/55/16 for sale on ebay, and wondered if they will fit in my wheel arches on 16 x 7.5 rims.

i bought a set of P600s but have not been all that satisfied with the traction, *especially* in the wet. As long as you don't drive the way i do, maybe you won't approach its limits, but everyone appreciates some margin of safety ...

NOPE,
Skip the 225/55/16's. That is a 500E size and is the WRONG rolling radius for a normal W124. (even a 91 300CE) If you already have 16x7.5 rims then buy some 225/50/16's from the Tirerack in a brand/model to suit your tastes. Besides, the pirelli p600's are just plain outclassed when compared to the MXV4 or its peers. Hope this helps...Lee |
