Don't bother with 18" on an SLK unless you've got the supercharged 320 engine. With the 4 cyclinder and 197 hp, you'll feel the car even accelerate and brake slower. 16" is the best size but ifyou have to upgrade, go for 17".

I upgraded my 280hp twin turbo RX7 to 18" and I can feel it's slower. It looks great but performance suffers.
