Need a rim refinish shop in the Toronto area

I have decided to have my "bundt cake" type original rims refinished rather than buying new ones. I believe this will involve bead blasting and re-painting.

Does anyone have a recommendation of an appropriate shop to have this done in the greater Toronto area?

Also, any idea of a reasonable price for this work?

MapleLeaf, thanks for the tip.

I drove out to Carcone's and got an estimate. After talking to those guys for a while it became very obvious that that's the place to go. They know wheels!

They will refinish each rim for $100 a copy plus $20 for balancing (with the weights on the inside) so your price range was bang on. Mercedes send most of their business to them.

A slight incovenience is that they will only take delivery of the wheels without the car attached but they do have a pickup and delivery service.

Before proceeding I want to instal new brakes as my originals create far too much corrosive brake dust and it's a real pain wiping them clean after every drive. I know this site has lots of advice of which brakes to purchase.

Thanks again for helping me out.

PS,

The Leafs are out sooooooo, go Flames!

Sure would be slick to paint them the same anthracite as your car.

David, it might look better but I can't bring myself to move away from the original look.

Oh but how the break dust will hide.

Just think AMG.

BTW I am getting prices down about $50 per wheel locally to about $75 per when I say I just want dark grey or black and durable and do not care about perfect color match.
