Staggered wheel/tire set up

I'm looking to buy AMG Monoblock ll's for my 1998 E320. What are the pros and cons of the staggered set up?

however, You can't rotate them as an aid to extend the tire wear.

reduces throttle induced oversteer
better acceleration traction
