205/70-14's ("H" speed rated) are hard to find!
I'm discovering that it's not all that easy finding tires of this size that are also "H" speed rated which is the recommended speed rating for my roadster.
Unfortunately the Turanza's in this size are only "T" rated and their "H" rated tire is not in my size. Michelin stopped making 205/70-14's according to my information. I have found Firestone Affinity in my size and "H" rated but I don't remember anything on this site or from Luke that would give me a sense of their quality. Any suggestions from y'all would be welcome.

I just did another search and I have found a comment from Luke that is positive about the "Affinity."

you could upgrade to 15" wheels, for which you would have many choices for H-rated tires.
The 15" 8-hole type would look right at home on your car, if not period-correct. |

Thanks, bobbyv, I have considered going to 15" from time to time but in the end I always have preferred to keep the 380's original look.

Luke's site lists an HR from Sumitomo
and lots of us have had good experiences with this brand in earlier models. They resemble Michelin in a lot of behavior traits, with good turn-in (responsiveness). Otherwise, if keeping 14" Bundt Cake rims was a priority, I'd resort to the BFGoodrich TA 205/70SR all season tires -- good handling and no reason to really doubt that their ability to handle speed (heat resistance) is adequate for your purposes.
