Radial tire drift/pull

Dear tire experts,
450SEL 1980 with all new suspension front and rear, new Mercedes rebuild steering box, shocks, etc...
I have a very slight drift to the right that after carufull aligment by Johnson's Aligment in Torrance Ca is still present.
They advise that the pull is caused by what is called a "radial tire drift" and suggested cross rotating the tires back to front.
Have MXV4's 205-70HR14 on original wheels with about 30000 miles and dead even wear on all four corners.
Should I attempt the cross rotation? Any other suggestions. Shop is one of the top in the area and with an excelent reputation.
Thank you,
Joe Brasileiro

I would rotate the tires and see if the problem changes or goes away ..... radial pull can and does still happen

Thanks for the response Luke. Tires rotated, drift slightly improved but still there.
Does anyone know an alignment shop in the Los Angeles area that uses a spreader bar and locks the steering box in order to do a proper alignment. I have spoken to several and they seem to think I'm crazy for asking these questions and some don't even know what I am talking about.
I took the car to my local dealer a couple of years ago and they did not use the bar nor locked the box which is the proper procedure.
Thanks,
Joe Brasileiro
