I have left rear brake pads wearing unevenly on my 300D. I'm thinking the rear calipers probably need rebuilding. Questions:

1. How do you identify which manufacturer the caliper is? (bendix/ATE) A: I just found photos with differences.
2. What special tools are required to rebuild these brake calipers?
3. If I replace the rear pair instead of rebuilding, are Bendix or ATE calipers the preferred manufacturer?
