Hi Bob,
I have the 450 SLC 5.0 and found the 8 hole 16X8 from the 500SL 1990 gives the car a much better proportionate image and keeps the classic looks. You will have to use 5mm spacers to prevent rubbing on the steering balljoints on 225X60X16 tyres and can still use the same lugbolts. Good luck.
