Has anybody tried using the "Toyota silicone oil, part number 08816-03001-get (2) each" suggested in the Porsche how to? Today was the first hot day in Portland and I noticed that the car was running 20* hotter than usual. I popped the hood when I got home to see how much resistance the fan clutch gave and got burnt by the aluminum fan.
. The fan clutch was totally loose, and I found my spare sitting in a puddle of it's own juices.
How did you remove the center pin?
