well guys i thought i had hit the jack pot before, ha that was just the tip of the iceberg!!!!! my friend works at a scrap yard, where i usually get most of my freebies from. so yesterday he tells me a of an old 300D diesel benz that had showed up, ok cool. so i went in there today and not only had an old haggard 300D come in, but also a mint condition 300SD TURBO diesel!!
the thing was this car was not supposed to be parted out, and just crushed as it was part of some scrap it program. the engine ran so nice, and the car looked so mint (before the other guy went at it with a hammer lol) and only had 220k on it. i ended up paying the head guy 150 and dropping off the old engine from my pathfinder for the scrap weight!!!!
such a score!!!! its only about 2" longer front to back due to the cylinder arrangment, but i bet it makes about 130+hp and probably 180-200flbs of torque!!!
so this gonna be used in my new truck, and ill probably just sell the 4cyl benz diesel.
man i cant wait to have 2, yes 2, turbo charged mazda B's!!!!! so i have some new pics, of the new motor and the cars i checked out

this project just went from cool, to flippin awesome!!!!!! i mean this engine will allow me to tow stuff!!!! and still get pretty good milage!!!!
