went outside started the car, the noise was very pronounced, looked underneath the car and what did i find? A flimsy metal piece that is attached to the car was bent and was touching the muffler pipe thus causing that noise.

What an Unusual tapping noise if you ask me!

But hey, for now the problem is resolved
