Thanks Fimum Fit,

That's the best opinion yet. That's be the one thing nagging me. Why or how ALL Four Tires? The car was balanced and aligned when the new tires were put on; it was smooth as a bell at 95 mph with no pull (I know that is only a one aspect of alignment!).

The ABS will "chirp" the rear tires in a panic stop. My "attentive driving" wife re-evaluates this from time to time. Dealer says the system is operating normally. But that only addresses the rears getting a flat spot.

Dealer says the suspension is tight; I've always felt the rear was a little too tight. If you've driven a corvette a little too fast over railroad tracks you know what I mean. It's hard/harsh on potholes; the interior sound like it's falling apart on a pothole. Again, dealer says it OK.

So, I'll switch to the Michelins and start from scratch.

Thanks,

Intruder
