the dual exhaust didn't sound any different really. I did have a bad exhaust leak....
Jim B loves this story, so i'll tell it again lol.
During high school... I set off some bottle rockets over Clear Lake... they are illegal, but thats why I set them off over the lake, didn't wanna start a fire. they when off illuminating the Sheriffs boat. they headed for the dock we were on, myself and 3 of my friends ran for the SD. we got in the car and heard boots on the dock, so i punched it, went up a curb and on to the street. this ripped up the resonators (kidneys) so I cut them out... well then the exhaust hung to low and I didn't like that so i tried to fab up some hangers... some how this caused the failure of my flex pipe.... but I didn't know that. my friend and i decided to rebuild the exhaust. we got a new muffler and everything, welded it up only to have the car sounds the same, we inspected all the exhaust (under the car) and found no leaks. popped the hood and the flex pipe was gone! we repaired that and then everything should have been done... except, we decided to have some beers, after talking it over the next day took it all apart and fabbed up the straight pipe dual exhaust. mainly for looks, and cause the car sounded really good without the flex pipe, but we wanted the exhaust to come out the back.

the car has had the dual exhaust for the last 6 years!

Its time for something new.

3" straight pipe!

PS the bike is my roommates, I don't ride, thought about it, but haven't done it yet.
