I live in northwest Oregon. I only see dry pavement 4 months a year and my wheels spin just fine on the rain soaked stuff I live with most of the time. Plus, the engine may get a little wilder in the future. I've done quite a bit of reading in those old threads about variable turbos and intercoolers.

2.88 would be even better, but can one separate the gears from the locker? I haven't had one of these diff's apart yet, but if it can be done, I'm not scared to try. Wouldn't be the first differential I've been inside... and yes, they do work afterward. I'm planning to tear into the suspension this spring which would make it an easy time to do a diff swap.
