I once carried an Atomic 4 sailboat engine down into my basement.
Not exactly, me but I was involved. Friend in Brooklyn had an early 60's Chrysler with the push button transmission. It stuck in drive parked on the street and wouldn't start due to the NSS. I told my friend I could start it for him by jumping the starter. I told him to sit inside hold his foot on the brake and I would start it. I did. Car wasn't moving but was parked directly behind another car. He got out from behind the wheel saying he wanted to see the starter connections. I told him to hang on a second while I got in the driver's seat. Before I did, he walked in front of the car and decided he want to rev it up for some reason. He reached into the engine compartment and opened the throttle wide. Being in drive, it sped forward pinning him between the two bumpers. Lucky for him one of them had the big vertical bumper additions so it didn't completely crush his legs. He didn't walk very well for quite a few days after that.
