Have you tried the rocker switch at the right center of the instrument panel above the radio? If you're not familiar with MB you may have overlooked it.

If the switch does nothing. Turn it on and off with the key on, engine off. Listen for the motor running. If the motor runs and nothing happens, you may need to feed in a new mast.
