Humans have too great of an attachment to Dogs for them to be banned even if there was a reason to do so.
Not an exact response to your Comment but, Dogs are already regulated by Laws because they cause well know problems.
What I was trying to show that Hate often does not have sound reason behind it.
In the case of Feral or House type Cats they are not out there biting 1000s of People or occasionally crippling or killing People; Dogs do but they are Loved by Most People.
Cats are on the whole very Benign Animals; yet some People hate Cats simply because they are Cats.
I don't hate the Opossums or Squirrels that run around the Local Neighborhood or even hate Snakes. Oh, I also don't hate Dogs.
