Be proud of that 83 240D. That was one of the best cars made for the money. THey finally got it right and then discountinued it. The 83 had velour carpeting, electric right hand mirror, and delayed interior light. I'm not saying it was a 380 SEL, but for value it couldn't be beat. In my opinion, the 83 240D should go down in history as a magnificent production.
