The fault is with the weight sensing system, ie WSS. The WSS utilizes four force sensors in the mounting of the seat frame. Assuming everything is actually ok with the WSS, a protracted calibration sequence is required to bring it back online. In all likelihood there are problems with the force sensors which are not sold separate from the frame. Be sitting down before you get a quote for the lower seat frame from MB.
