T walgamuth, you said the 4/5/6 cyl had the rear of the engine in the same place. Therefore the driveshaft would be the same with the same trans. Not the case. One
Is a 220d and one is a 280c. Damn. I didn't think it was possible but I was hoping. Granted I don't have a 5 cyl 300d to look at but the 5 cyl diesel and 6 cyl gas are almost the same size.
