Update on this saga. The motor got hurt overheating the week after my last post while not towing. Turns out it was the fan clutch. It still runs and drives fine but it's overpressurizing the cooling system. With a solid fan drive made there are no cooling issues. I towed it to another event yesterday and it was ok but it did end up pushing water out at high load. The great news is that I got a om 606, and 716.668 6 speed manual trans and an om603 mechanical pump which is going to diesel pump UK to be built for the car. It's getting air shocks and a 3.46 LSD v8 diff as well. Should be a fun and very usefull shop car/truck. It has so much room inside. I brought 5 pairs of mounted wheels abd tires in the back seat area. My tools rode on the passenger floor and there was tons of spare room in the trunk.
