That really does look nice .

A few years back I stumbled across one (Jag. MkII) that had a Chevrolet 250CID i6 engine and TH350 slushbox, it was pretty rough, the interior was trashed, I could have bought it cheaply but passed .

A 240D stick isn't slow but it's not fast either .

My '82 240D is in tip top shape and tune and I like it but merging into fast moving freeway/highway traffic @ 45 ~ 50 MPH can be jarring .
