Looks like the Mercedes hood star without the surrounding ring. it should be a phillips screwdriver bit style. I just went through my kit of security bits and do not see anyone like that.So it is unlikely to be a common type security screw.

Other than that it may be a very special production screw. We do not have an electric blanket. Or I would have examined the screw type used before posting.
