Leaf Blowers & Lawn Mowers
Wow ~ a Jacobson rotary mower .
In 196? (2, 30 or 4) Mom bought a reel typ Jacobson, back then lead free gasoline was tricky to find and regular leaded would form pellet between the spark plug's electrode, easy to fix but always a bother .
The leaf blowers, I hate them, too noisy and most just blow a HUGE cloud of dust and leaves into the street and their neighbor's yard and freshly washed car....
I bought an electric one but have never taken it out of the box .
I live on a corner lot and so have two sidewalks and gutters to sweep, I use a wide very soft bristle push broom, it works fine on pebbled surfaces and asphalt .
Interesting thread, kinda off topic but good I think .
