This car is a garage-kept, 1-Owner Oregon car (no salt on the roads) and was driven down to Arizona, only occasionally...
I did notice some dirt inside the gas cap door area, but it doesn't appear to be actually rust. Is there a spray that would neutralize (?) anything going on in there?
Door panels, hood area, trunk and footwells are all dry. I didn't see a speck of rust on any of the panels or fenders.
The previous owner just had a valve adjustment, new belts & hoses, a complete new distributor ($600, he said!) assy. installed, cap, plugs, wires, rotor & condensor, a/c, coolant & tranny services done... Tires and brakes within 3-5K.
What is the valve adjustment interval, anyway?
