Thanks for all the responses to this thread.

I have gotten beyond fuel problems now. The camshaft is retarded. I am now about to pull the vac. pump to see if it came apart, scattering pieces throughout the bottom, which Benzmac has seen cause timing to jump. I also may find a sheared crankshaft timing gear key.
