PEH is right. Normal alignment proceedure is to straighten the steering wheel and adjust the allignment to the steering. It sounds like the alignment fixed your problem but should have been adjusted in such a way as to keep the steering straight. Take it back and they should fix it. If you don't want to take it back then you can try to adjust the steering at the wheel although I doubt you'll get it exactly straight. To take the wheel off carefully pry off the star emblem in the center of the wheel. That will give you access to remove the center cover. The rest should be pretty straight forward.
