Apparently scrap steel prices are up...at least two parts yards in my area are crushing bunches of old cars. One place told me they had just crushed a couple hundred, including a '68 Benz.
They also told me they were about to CRUSH some more, so I brought home a rear ended, manual, '74, 240D that was 99% complete. They said this was the last Benz they had left .
