Thanks for the reply, it's very helpful, however after a little research on this site, I found that W210 have slightly different thickness pads and each pad is 4mm apart.
Could you explain why you said "you might was well raise the rear slightly than have it lower slightly"? What would be the reason to have higher rear than front?
