I am looking for the wheel in the sunroof gearbox that connects to the screw gear of the motor to the rest of the gears to move the sunroof cable. The motor and all other parts are good, but the wheel has a flat spot worn in it so it is unable to pull and push the cable through an entire rotation.
Don't want to spend $300 to replace the entire thing when only one little piece is broken.
Does anyone know of a source for the interior parts of the sunroof gearbox, or of a good way to replace/rebuild the teeth on the wheel/gear that engages with the screw gear of the motor?
