Hi there, yes the 16V box is quicker ratio and it does make the steering more responsive to small inputs about the eqivellent of a smaller steering wheel, this is fine on back roads etc but on the motorway the steering is more nervous. Basically you loose some of that Benz magical straightline stabillity, I guess thats why every car does"nt come fitted with the quick box. The Sportline models should also have the same unit, but always check the turns lock to lock before buying used in case the donor as had a standard replacement at some point. Regards Linds
