I sure am glad others here keep me on my toes when I post, sometimes I forget things. I mean I know about moisture build up in crankcase, and we do a lot of short runs in the 240 an the Jetta. But they are taken on regular road trips to prevent problems with moisture and I guess I just figured in the back of my pea brain that everyone knows to do this beside me.
