I had heard (can't promise) that the G-glass that MB is importing (as opposed to what GWagen, Inc. -- nee Europa -- had been importing) has some downgraded components, including the Automatic Climate Control system -- the type found in the M-class cars, instead of the more expensive models. This is the one with the rotary dial (relative temperature, warmer to colder) for the temperature, instead of a dial in which you specify the exact temperature.
