I did a test today. 85 wvo and 15 RUG took 10 seconds from mph 65 mph, 85 wv0 and 15 B100 about 9,7
b100 is cheaper.

My 240 is zero to 60 in about 10 days on dino.
I've been running it on the blend and I've noticed no difference except it runs quieter. Oh....and everybody smells my exhaust.

Cheers,

Bill

Austin85,

Do you have the heaters on your injection lines?

Or do you just have the facet pump?

Cheers,

Bill

those injectorline heaters are good for startup. once the engine is hot, those lines sure are too! feel them... would it be possible to heat the pump for startup maybe? how many miles do you get from just the fuel sitting inthere? the first bit on cold oil is the worst for your engine.

I loop the return back to the filter, heat the injector and fuellines for startup with my wifes hairblower tool and fuelline heaters and plan to get a $50 heat exchanger. 15% b100 does the rest. imagine the savings! about 90 fillups will give you a rebuilt engine. ( not concidering tax cuts)
yeah! be green! green rocks! spill it into the earth and there's no damage! ants love it!
5 cylinders rule!

My wife would just love me using her hairdryer for WVO purposes.

Admitedly I have thought of that. But with air temps approaching 100F I'm not so sure heat from hairdryer will add much more to the fuel line temp.

5 cylinders do rule 'cause the little 4 cylinder in my 240 sure won't out run my TD.

Cheers,

Bill

seriously though, bill, the car I molest that way is my beater 116sd. which by the way is a lot faster and nicer to drive than my pretty '83 sd...
that one only gets b100. I want to convert that one for life. what do you think is the best 'system'? elsbett? I can't decide..

No heated lines ..

I hear the injector line heater from
http://www.fattywagons.com/fwproducts.htm

is good to have.. ( Matt..)

Although last week or 2 I have been running sluggish on hi speeds & now see that my 12v fuel pump is not running.

Either a loose connection, or time for a new pump..?

Austin85:

Yes, Matt gave me the web address for the heater and suggested I install it.

I have yet to install either the pump or the heater. I'm just waiting for problems because I neglected to do so. I already have a leak around the injectors somewhere that i haven't investigated. No leaks at all using dino. Could be from the rubber return lines. I plan on looking into it tomorrow.

Cheers,

Bill

Tell me more about WVO

I've been trying to learn more about WVO and biodiesel, "brewing my own". I heard about the Appleseed kit, wondered what you were all using and how it's working. Interesting about using such oil for heating the home as well! Great idea!

I'm using the blending method. Do a search for wvo blend.

Cheers,

Bill
