Combustion deposits (Sticks piston rings, reducing compression and increasing blowby), engine oil contamination (accelerates bearing and cylinder wear) and injection system wear (Poor injector spray pattern leading to increased combustion deposits and oil contamination from incomplete/dirty combustion).

I think the combo of their awful reputation / customer service (except for jason) and the quality of their kit killed them

I really didnt see any change in the amount of conversions coming in since the diesel crash

ive been servicing their kits for quite awhile now
and ive noticed that after their filter "crushes " itself onto the spring
a few times it starts to split on the creases letting 100% unfiltered oil into the fuel system ,ive found a paper filter that replaces the "reusable" filter that comes with the kit

If you have new oil(not random fryer crap)
and do the whole proper heating/filtration bit you'll be fine. Few people actually do it, and even less use good oil.

Unless you have a new CDI you can safely run B-11 to B-20.

B5 would be nice, my economy went down too much with 20.

B5 is all you can get officially in Portland now. All diesel sold in Portland must be at least B5, unless things have changed.
