Other possible shops in Nevada.
International Automotive Technicians' Network; iATN Repair Shop Finder.
http://www.iatn.net/shopfinder/ Bosch Authorized Automotive Service. http://www.boschservice.com/FindSvcCenter/Pages/FindingaServiceCenter.aspx All sponsor members of iATN agree to an ethical code of conduct as part of our obligation to our customers. There is however still the need to check locally on a shop for references. Not all those listed are service shops...some are VoTech's and other specialized businesses. The list now covers the whole world and every continent. Need to bookmark this if your are traveling out of your home area. Those highlighted in 'blue' are sponsor members. ASE—Certifying the Automotive Professional Finding a competent auto technician need not be a matter of chance. Much of the guesswork has been eliminated, thanks to national program conducted by the non-profit National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). http://www.ase.com/bluesealsearch/locator.php Last edited by whunter; 03-06-2010 at 08:22 PM. |

Good MB shop in Las Vegas.....
I found a great new MB independent shop in Las Vegas. Their name is G&G ********. They have a very clean shop and have only been open about 4 months. They only do MB repair. The shop is owned by 2 very good MB certified technicians, Austin and Iram . Iram has been around quite a long time in Vegas doing only MB repair and Austin previously worked at the local MB dealer. I have been to them several times now and am quite happy with their service. Their number is 364-BENZ or 364-2369. They are very close to the corner of Decatur and Meadows. By the Meadows mall. Their address is 325 South Decatur Las Vegas, NV 89107. Being a new first time MB owner, I found out these guys will inspect your car (while you watch) and take you under the car and show you what they found. If you elect to do the work they offer free valet service and wash your car when the repairs are done. My experience is that they are quite honest and very resonable on their prices. Much better then dealer pricing. I have pretty high standards and I am quite picky with who I allow to touch my car. I do alot of my own work on my own vehicles, but when I can't I will be doing all my service with them. Try them out. Feel free to mention my name. Vinnie

I am in agreement about G&G ********. Recently had a few things done there on the 211 and they've been very professional and not exceptionally expensive. I'm fairly done with the dealer, Fletcher Jones.
I would comment that another shop, German Motors has been a little more difficult. I recently had them do a major amount of work on the 124 and just wasn't overly impressed. Not sure if I'll use them again. They missed a couple of obvious things that actually would have made the bill go up, but in fact now require me to make another visit to a garage. Can't tell if they're lazy or just stoned - half of Nevada is actually high now that ganja is legal - not a good thing.
