w124 93.. 2ohm or 4ohm speakers?

Does anyone know if the w124 93 (400e) have 4 ohm or 2 ohm speakers?

For some reason, I think I remember reading somewhere the 93 w124's have subwoofers in the doors that are 2 ohm and the front and rear window speakers are 4 ohm.

That would agree with what I've read. Four ohms in the dash and deck, and 2 ohm subs.

If your car came with a car phone, than your driver's side dash speaker is a totally different beast. It would have 4 wires attached to it. 2 for the radio portion of the speaker and 2 for the speakerphone portion. I think it also has two separate speaker cones. So watch out for that.
