Can anyone give me any information on how to remove the factory radio of a 98 CLK320?

If you are talking about the Head unit, it's pretty easy. There is a special tool you need to get from MB which fits into the thin horizontal slots on the front of the head unit. You push it in and the unit releases itself. Just push it back in to reconnect. Also, be sure you have the code for the radio. Once disconnected, you will have to re-enter it to activate it.
