Do You Recognise this MB CD System???
Anyone out there recognise this CD system. The current owner is unable to tell me from what model Merc it was pulled. I have recently bought myself a '90 300CE, with a Pioneer stereo fitted, but I want a CD player, and to fit an original MB system would kill 2 birds with one stone.
What I wasn't aware of was the fact that MB fitted Eurovox stereos, I thought it was Bekker only...or maybe this is an Australian fitment only. Your assistance would be most appreciated. Marc. |

Mark,
MB fitted the eurovox head units and cd players in Australia I think between 1994 and 1998. They are rubbish. The sound quality is fine but they play up no end. I have a late model becker head unit with the 6 cd stacked in my w124 and it's great. It's the Audio 10 head unit. Look on ebay and see what you find. Oh, I'm based in Melbourne and Ballarat. Cheers Andrew

Thanks for the advice, Andrew. I'll keep my eyes open on eBay, Trading Post, etc. Bendigo area is my turf.
Cheers, Marc. |
